Adirondack finished second in the Stoney Creek cup over 2100 m with Ben Melham aboard, finishing late on the scene to shorten the margin with race winner Youl Das For Cash.
On leaving the stalls passing the post, the first occasion in the Stoney Creek Cup over 2100 m the race leader was Use The Lot, Vengeur Masque was next with Youl Dash For Cash following, Adirondack travelled just off the fence under the urgings of Ben Melham.
On entering the turn Use The Lot led for home with Adirondack under the persuader passing the 400m.
On entering the straight Adirondack was in for the fight running on late with a customary finish, however was unable to pick up Youl Dash For Cash who landed the prize in advance of Adirondack with Unique Assassin in third.
