On jumping in the Ian Morrison handicap over 1700 m at Caulfield, Skulduggery ridden by Jake Bayliss, copped an early squeeze to limp out the back, Folk Tail led in advance of Hunamosa with Royal Applause next, Tempered was fourth one of the fence as Skulduggery was last.

On straightening for home Folk Tales still led in advance Hunamosa Skulduggery was the widest runner and was wound up by Jake Bayliss coming to the outside to charge home over the top of runners to race away to score an emphatic win after a quick backup, to defeat Royal Applause with on Wings arriving in third.

Skulduggery is certainly racing in fine stead after joining the Shawn Mathrick yard, by placing once & winning two of its past three outings.
