Four-year-old chestnut gelding Skulduggery chalked up win number one at start number one, first time out for the new trainer Shawn Mathrick when competing in the Cyril Cook florist BM 58 on December 26.
Ridden at the tail of the field by Jackie Berriman, the duo settled nicely before finding a gap at the top of the straight to slide through and although on one rein landed the prize by 2 1/2 Lengths to Three Strikes with Bernie Boy third, & Valle Noce arriving in fourth in a time of 1:48.92, much to the delight of connections.
