Orujo finished third in the Holdfast Insurance handicap at Morphettville over 1050 m racing on a good (4).

Leaving the stalls in Orujo was slowly away Core Breach lead Tarco with Sandhill Flash next early. Nearing the line Cashed stuck the neck out to beat Usain Dane with the Melbourne visitor, Orujo finishing in third.
