The Shawn Mathrick stables saddled up My Naughty Hoaks to race eight on the racing.com park all weather Pakenham track on Monday, October 10 with the recent consistent galloper jumping from barrier 12 with Ms Jackie Beriman the pilot.
Given an easy time of it in the BM 58 handicap over 2200 m My Naughty Hoaks settled around third, with king Of Rosa in charge, Miss Beals landed second with Miss Zao in fourth.
The order remained similar until advancing past the 400m when My Naughty Hoaks cruised up grabbed the lead and with a couple of swishes of the tail raced away under the urgings of Beriman, landing the prize in advance of Shecky’s Laughter with Spherical in third.
