The stable saddled up Satellite Miss for the final event on the Benalla program, with a BM58 handicap displaying a field of nine runners with a heavy (8) surface facing the competitors, Jackie Beriman was booked to ride jumping from barrier 10.
On landing in the Sportsbet handicap the first runner out was Matthews Honour, Flying Flo Jo was there, as was Satellite Miss who settled third on landing closely followed by Cheeky Chinchilla with the tempo moderate around the 600m with the field travelling to the turn.
On entering the straight Fying Flo Jo swept to the centre of the track with Satellite Miss showing a new liking for the rain effected going, albeit back to a more weaker grade from some recent outings, with Jackie Beriman getting the best out of the Sean Mathrick prepared runner to take out the last on the Benalla card in advance of the dead-heaters in Cheeky Chinchilla and Flying Flo Jo.
Congratulations to the owners consisting of Mr J Van Beek and Mrs L Van Beek with a long awaited return to the winners circle with their runner, its first since December 1st 2014.
