Stable runner Skulduggery was looking for back to back victories for new trainer Shawn Mathrick as the runner headed out to compete in an 1800m at Hillside.
On landing Skulduggery was rearward, Eye Contact lead with Omarion next in front of Kookama Bay.
Coming to the turn skullduggery was push to the outside by Dwayne Dunn and was being urged along, picking up by the 400m & was running on strong, Boris Thornton trailed into the race behind Skulduggery, and although the latter fought on doggedly to the line it was the Brown trained Lola Lu with the softer run to land the prize this time out.
