Shawn Mathrick will supply one runner, at this stage to the Ladbrokes Park Hillside Club on Wednesday, January 18 with Skulduggery to compete in race eight on the program with the runner also nominated for Mooney Valley on the 21st of January.

The single stable runner will see a Skulduggery aiming to go back to back when running over 1800 m in a BM 70 handicap with Dwayne Dunn the pilot jumping from barrier five.

Skullduggery is a four-year-old chestnut gelding having raced on 19 occasions for three wins and 5 placings earning prize money of just over $100,000.

Since joining the yard, Skulduggery has won 2 from three, with the latest at Caulfield on January 7 saw the runner defeat Royal Applause and On Wings, when ridden by Jake Bayliss to land the prize by 1.50 lengths in a time of 143.50 with the last 600m in 36.08 racing on a good three.

The stable wishes connections the best of luck at Sandown on Wednesday.
