Swift Exit has registered an all the way win around the tight-turning Yarra Valley circuit on Friday scoring comfortably in the $15,000 Domestic Fire Sprinklers 0-58 Handicap (1000m).

The 1¼ length victory was full of merit – working his was across from the outside barrier and setting a genuine run tempo. With a half-length lead into the straight the five-year-old son dug deep to find a second gear and hold off a wall of closers.

In what was the daughter of Choisir’s third career win – it was her first this campaign having returned from a lengthy lay off. Having scored in a trial before commencing racing this preparation she endured little luck in her latest three outings with the most recent being a sound four-length defeat at Morphettville.

With border-hopper Jason Collins getting his first road aboard Swift Exit the stables intention is to keep her to the sprint distance this campaign having failed over 1300m and beyond previously.

Bred by Mathrick himself – Swift Exit is from the Amen Brother mare Just Dance on who was a stakes winner and finished 2ND in a Blue Diamond Prelude. From nine foals to race seven have been winners highlighted by Northern Point (11x wins $289,580 in stakes). Others include Dance For Cash and Keldance.

Congratulations to the owners involved in Swift Exit who has earned just shy of $40,000 in her short career.
